At Adamant Amen Press we strive to bring you not just Christian fiction, but really good fiction--well crafted stories that matter in today's world. Stories that illustrate the human experience while illuminating the miraculous presence of God.
Whether He's front and center or whispering from deep within the pages, we believe that the best stories point to Him. We bring you stories that feature complicated characters, real emotions, deep plots, and all the feels from laughter to tears. Our stories may send you to a sweet and light escape or they may tug at your heartstrings. But they will be uplifting and hopeful no matter what. Life isn't always an easy place to live, and being human doesn't make it any easier. Fortunately we have God, good fiction, and each other!
We publish and support fiction that respects and recognizes that we live in God’s world and that Christ is the Lord of all. We also know that His people are far from perfect and our fiction isn’t afraid to show that. It is in our brokenness that we most clearly see God’s grace and mercy. It’s during our worst moments and lowest times that we are given the greatest opportunity to grow closer to Him. Sometimes we make good decisions right off the bat, but often we don’t. What a gracious gift it is that He sees our hearts and gives us chance after chance to come to Him.
What makes Adamant Amen Press a little different (and this is not a slam on any other publisher of Christian fiction–we’re just looking for our audience) is that the books you find here are going to run the gamut of reflecting the lives of people today. Our characters are going to fail as often, and maybe more, than they succeed. They’re going to forget to turn to Christ first. They’re going to have pasts that aren’t pretty, presents that aren't squeaky clean, and futures that are sometimes hard to face.
You’re also going to see the lighter side with fiction that makes you laugh, fall in love, or forget the real world and escape into fantasy. Some books will be more message forward and you’ll see God all over them. Some books are going to be more story forward and while a “message” might not present itself, the story at large will reveal itself in a Godly nature either pointing directly to Him or whispering quietly about how to live, treat others, treat yourself, seek Him, acknowledge Him, and just how to be human in this world He created. God is the great lover of mankind and we are lucky to live in His light.
He has given us a light to shine as well and we hope to do just that here at Adamant Amen Press. We are, well, adamant about shining that light through good books that we hope will bring you closer to Christ. This is our “good works.” We hope that you will shine your light for Him as well.
